Contemporary Austrian writer Anna-Elisabeth Mayer, special guest of the GMC/Dept. of German, UM stand, will read from her latest novel Kreidezeit (2023).

In a bitingly ironic way, the novel tackles the question of human-machine relations, critically reflecting on the digitalisation of school education and artificial intelligence.

The reading will be followed by a book signing session and the opportunity for the audience to meet the author. This event is kindly sponsored by the Austrian Embassy for Malta.
